Services - Private - Electrical Safety Checks

Eastfield Technical Services offer a comprehensive testing and certification or electrical report.

This can cover existing installation, new installation or additional circuits.

Landlords, on their rented properties, are required by law to have electrical safety certifications and any remedial works required to be carried out before tenants take residence, or if already in residence to be carried out by set times

All testing is carried out to the IEE Wiring Regulations
Sixteenth Edition BS7671:2001.

    Important Notice
    The new law introduced in January 2005 allows only qualified Electricians holding a current 16th IEE Regulations City and Guilds qualification may carry out electrical works providing the firm is registered with a governing body such as NICEIC including part P registration or ECA.

    A qualified electrician can oversee the supervision of trainees and a Qualified Manager with one of the governing bodies to test full/part installations, both new and old, for the purpose of issuing Testing Certificates.
