House lights
Drive Lights

We install lots of lighting systems on houses and businesses around the New Forest.
Drive lighting which can be used to light up buildings from pubs, hotels, private homes to church/public buildings

Security lighting systems can be as basic as floodlighting with PIR operation, to multi-head sensors with a central control panel operating a number of luminares around the property.

Most of these systems use extra-low-voltage to operate the sensors and low-voltage to operate the luminares.

A number of these lighting systems with controllers can be linked to alarm systems which will operate in an alarm situation, turning the lighting system on. Dawn to Dusk security lighting can be used to light car parks, private roads, driveways, or office blocks. This type of system is controlled by photo-sensitive cells linked to controllers or each light can be individually controlled.

Control systems for this type of security lighting can allow timed control of lighting duration to be programmed by the operator.

Effect lighting systems are often used for lighting up the fronts of hotels, public houses, churches and other buildings of interest.

The two most commonly used types of lighting are som lighting, giving an orangey glow and accentuates the building's features softly; and metal halighe lighting, which is a harsher bright white light, often used for lighting more modern buildings.
