Commercial and Industrial New/ Full Installations

Eastfield Technical Services offer a full design, build, install, test and commissioning of all types of electrical installations and systems. Eastfield Technical Services will fit your new, full or part installation to comply with the current British Standards.

One of the many CoE buildings (St Mary's church) where we supplied and installed Induction Loop/Sound enhancement systems. The cable work had to comply to the guidelines set by the Ascetics Council.

Eastfield Technical Services can tailor cable routing and management systems to the requirements of the structure into which it is being installed. Equipment can be fitted with a wide range of industrial uses within the commercial sector from offices, shops, businesses, workshops, factories to agricultural buildings.

All installations are to the current IEE Regulations and are issued with completion certificates as appropriate to the installation. As from 31 March 2006, new wiring regulations apply to extensions or alterations to existing three-phase installations.

It is recommended that old and new cables are marked at the interface L1, L2 L3 for the phase and N for the neutral. The marking should be made to both the new and the old cables and it is preferred that coloured tape is used. A caution notice is again required at the distribution board.

    Important Notice
    The new law introduced in January 2005 allows only qualified Electricians holding a current 16th IEE Regulations City and Guilds qualification may carry out electrical works providing the firm is registered with a governing body such as NICEIC including part P registration or ECA.

    A qualified electrician can oversee the supervision of trainees and a Qualified Manager with one of the governing bodies to test full/part installations, both new and old, for the purpose of issuing Testing Certificates.
