New Install - Computer - CCTV

The importance having a professionally designed Eastfield Technical Services CCTV system can be seen from the fact that when the police seek to use CCTV evidence in court it is found to be inadmissible in at least 70% of cases.

CCTV

While it is true that almost anyone can look at a location and suggest a number of Cameras, only those who have experience in this field, through an understanding of the principles of optical science, will generally be able to give the customer a picture with the best definition or coverage.

.A common type of camera ( colour day time / black and white at night ), this camera has LED`s infra red to allow night vision.

There normally goes back to a hard drive recorder with a monitor, this can be down loaded over the net using board band to other computers for easy use.

Often it is also possible to give clients "added value" by locating Cameras, and utilising lenses which are able, not only to view the area of concern, but also give peripheral vision of other points of interest.

A very simple example of the above is that one company may provide a view of everyone entering through a door while another may also incorporate an overview of the room the person is entering without any increase in cost or equipment. In many cases, careful questioning reveals that a picture of people leaving rather than entering the area may, in fact, provide much more valuable evidence in the event of a crime.

It is possible with advent of high speed Broadband access to monitor premises from remote locations including admission of 3rd parties to the property. More advanced systems that are being tested in the UK range from number plate recognition and to motion sensors.

The advantage of linked alarm motion sensor detection is that the CCTV system changes from passive to reactive ie a security guard does not have to montor each camera, but the system informs the guard as necessary which not only saves significant costs, but improves surveillance
