The first was a large commercial project at the old Butterfly farm at Ashurst which was bought by the Sea Life Centres group of companies.

This site was made into a centre to show British wildlife. For Eastfield this project was a major design, using many different types of low light and optical lighting systems to create the illusion of a night sky complete with twinkling stars.

Eastfield also supplied many water features, from pumping water for streams and waterfalls. Most of the work in these warm and damp conditions used high IP rated fittings in the buildings.

The second project was the supply of the Christmas lights for Ringwood Town, which Eastfield made to the requirements of the Ringwood Town Council and the Ringwood Chamber of Trade.

The lights covered Christchurch Road, Southampton Road, the High Street, and West Street. These strings of lights were made in such a way that a team of four could install them in about six hours, in preparation for being wired up over the next two days. Eastfield also wired up the Christmas lights on the main market square Christmas tree.

Eastfield carried out main projects working with Wreford LTD which are based in Ringwood, carrying out many outside garden lighting systems and pumps for ponds, streams and water features. Eastfield wired the new building for Henderson Bearings Ltd, Ringwood.

This project was one of serveral used to obtain Eastfield's NICEIC enrolment in March 1995. At this time Mr Colin Harrison became the QM for the company with a second QM, Mr Richard Weaver. At this stage of the company Eastfield had a number of staff with a few vehicles on the road.

Eastfield were working in conjunction with a company in Ringwood called Rossmill which were supplying Eastfield with much of the Public Address, Voice Alarm and Intercom equipment, while Eastfield were carrying out their installation works. Contracts at this time included works at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital on their TOA hands free intercom systems, also church halls with sound systems.

After some time working together the two companies joined together to become one stronger, larger company. The new name for this company was Eastfield Rossmill and was moved in to the offices of Eastfield Electrics. The new Eastfield Rossmill moved more and more into the specialist side of electrical works, although still doing some new installation work and rewires of domestic, commercial and industrial properties. After this major success the company was slimmed down as the sales director of the company left to do other things, leaving Mr Colin Harrison to carry on with Eastfield.

Eastfield continue to work with the Ringwood Town Council, carrying on upgrading the Christmas and New year lighting for 9 consecutive years until the 2003/4.

Eastfield worked closely with Cranborne Forge, carrying out all their electrical works: wiring up electrical gates, below ground motors, arm motors, mechanical, hydraulic, and sliding systems which the staff were all trained for by FAAC in June 1999. During this training the staff gained much experience on other makes including BPT and Came.
