Eastfield Technical Services

Company History 1990 to 1995

In 1991 Eastfield started covering domestic, commercial business and industrial business. Eastfield would offer the client a full after sales service contract after installation or after taking over an old system. This took Eastfield to a new level of after-sales service.

This service of having an electrician or engineer on 24 hour call out, 7 days a week all year round, grew quickly, supplying and maintaining many systems to the local community of Ringwood, Bournemouth, Salisbury and Southampton.

In 1993 Eastfield started to supply CCTV systems to hotels, shops and factories which Eastfield would design, supply and install. Eastfield would offer the client a full after-sales service contract after installation.

Eastfield started to work with far more complex fire alarm systems, working with different building companies and building services consulting engineers.

By 1994 Eastfield had also broken the market carrying the supply, installing and after sales service on Public Address systems, background music systems, induction loop systems and Voice alarm systems.

Eastfield had outgrown their office/workshop so by 1995 Eastfield had found new offices/stores with a retail outlet selling electrical contracting equipment to the general public.

This part of the business was slow to start! The new premises were at 40 Southampton Road, Ringwood, Hants, BH24 3DZ. Eastfield now had two good contracts.
